Classical massage
The therapeutic indications for classical massage are diverse. Taking into account the contraindications (reasons not to do it), all reversible changes to the structures of the musculoskeletal system can be treated with massage. These include, for example, tension, back and neck problems or headaches. Stress-related problems can also often be successfully alleviated.
Experience the effects of a classical massage on your own body:
- Increased blood circulation
- Stimulation of the metabolism
- Pain relief or elimination
- Regulation of muscle tension
- Loosening of adhesions in various tissue structures
- Improvement of wound healing and immunity
- Reduction of stress hormones
- General relaxation and promotion of well-being
Manual lymphatic drainage
The lymphatic system is responsible for collecting waste products from the body and tissue fluid, cleansing them in the lymph nodes (‘filter stations’) and transporting them into the bloodstream.
If this drainage system is not functioning properly – for example, due to venous insufficiency or following injuries and operations – fluid can accumulate in the spaces between the cells. This can lead to swelling (edema). Manual lymphatic drainage is a decongestive measure aimed at restoring impaired lymphatic drainage. The lymphatic system is activated using gentle, pain-free massage techniques.
Lymphatic drainage also stimulates the immune system and has a relaxing and calming effect on the psyche and the autonomic nervous system.
Therapeutic indications:
- Lymphedema
- Lipedema
- Traumatic injuries (e.g. bruising, torn muscle fibres, broken bones)
- Heavy, tired and swollen legs
- Wound healing disorders, impaired scar formation
- Rheumatic diseases
- Chronic inflammation
- Sudeck’s disease (complex regional pain syndrome; chronic neurological disease that occurs after an injury, often in connection with a bone fracture)
- General detoxification
Foot reflexology massage
The reflex zones on the feet represent the entire body. This means that all of the body’s systems can be transferred to the foot and treated from there. The method works via the reflex connection between the feet and the entire body and its organ systems. However, the effect goes beyond the body and encompasses the whole person, including their emotional level.
Foot reflexology massage is a soothing way to alleviate discomfort, release tension, harmonise and regulate the body.
The treatment can also be used preventively and achieve general health improvement.
Foot reflexology massage is particularly suitable for:
- Pain
- Digestive discomfort
- Sleep disorders
- Headaches
- Hormonal disorders (e.g. menstrual problems, menopause)
- Muscular tension
- Stress and exhaustion
- Weakened immune system
